Using Food Dryer Do's and Dont's

Always slice the food into one-fourth inch pieces or portions before putting it in the food dryer . This will provide the surface with the best possible exposure to the Food Dryer heat and airflow. Distribute the slices of food as evenly as possible across the dehydrator sheets. This will also speed up the drying process, making it more thorough and efficient. It's a good idea to check on the food's drying status on a regular basis. The meals that are close to the Food Dryer fan will dry out faster than the other foods. After a couple of hours, alternatively, adjust the trays to correct this.
